To be honest, it was already in winter mode for two months but no snow. That changed last night. I drove home from my best friend's house on unplowed highways. The Saab and its winter shoes handled the snow like a champ. I could have gone faster but better to be safe than sorry. I was the only one on the roads so no holding up traffic.
